Contemplative prayer is the world in which God can do anything. To move into that realm is the greatest adventure. It is to be open to the Infinite and hence to infinite possibilities. Our private, self-made worlds come to an end; a new world appears within and around us and the impossible becomes an everyday experience.

This week I offer special prayers for Thomas Keating, one of the founders of centering prayer, who recently had surgery and is recovering.
Loving God, thank you for your servant Thomas and for all those who work to help us pray and draw nearer to you in spirit. Help us to open to your infinite possibilities, trusting that you can do anything.
Welcome, Infinite! Thank you for Thomas in every way. Awomen.
